講者：陳樂昱副研究員(中央研究院經濟研究所)

演講主題： Econometric Applications of Mixed Integer Optimization

 

講題摘要：

   Mixed Integer Optimization (MIO) is concerned with the problem of optimizing an objective function over a domain which embodies integrality constraints. In this talk, I will share my recent research experience on using the MIO approach to solve non-convex estimation problems in econometrics. The talk will consist of MIO applications in several concrete econometric problems which include maximum score estimation of semiparametric discrete response models and GMM estimation of instrumental variable quantile regression models.
